Vilma Santos compared to Sarah Palin for VP

MANILA = Imagemakers are now comparing Lakas Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos Recto as comparable to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin who should be nominated as the Lakas party’s vice presidential ‘left” />candidate in the 2010 presential elections. The administration believes that a Palin-type VP bet can compensate for the pathetic survey performance of its prospective standard bearer.

A source close to the family said that the 54-year-old Star for All Seasons is seriously considering a run for the vice-presidency in 2010. Santos-Recto has several things in common with the 44-year-old
Republican vice-presidential candidate, aside from being both women:
They’re both ‘hot’ governors; They both have ‘hot’ husbands; They’re both first woman governors of their respective territories; They’ve both been on the cover of fashion magazines; They both have ‘moral’ issues: Palin has a pregnant teenage daughter and eloped to marry Todd; Santos was pregnant before she married her first ‘hot’ husband, Edu Manzano (who is reportedly eyeing a Senate seat in 2010).

  1. I’m really expecting Gov. Vilma Santos Recto will run even for Vice President of the Philippines. I already wrote to the honorable governor to help millions of Pilipinos who are having problems with their birth certificates. i worked in Court in the Philippines and I know how poor many people are and they can not afford hiring lawyers simply correcting their birth certificates and my very own cousin, she was ask to prepare fifty thousand pesos, my cousin was shocked. so i really hope that the Philippine govt. will help the common people, as much as possible, before registering every birth certificates of every newborn child, it be corrected or have it checked by the parents concerned to avoid any errors because birth certificate is very important document. My very own sister is also encountering problems regarding her birth certificate, I am asking my sister to visit me herein America as I had a stroke yr. 2005 and i lost my husband May l0,2007, my sister told me there are 3 wrong entries in her birth certificate and she told me she needs to get a lawyer. I hope and pray they will pass a law simplifying rhe correction of entries in the birth certificates of every individual in the Philippines. I hope that government officials will really be servants of the people especially the less fortunate, notice that every people with a good heart are being blessed, those who are always looking up to honor God or giving back all the glory to God, the blessings are endless, unlimited, because Lord Jesus is a great pretender, he is the son of God, but he always appear as a poor person or a beggar because our beloved God is always for the poor among us, don’t worry that we are poor because i’ve read on the holy bible blessed are the poor because theirs is the Kingdon of God, isn’t that great! Madam Gov. Vilma, I cannot vote anymore in the Philippines as I.m already a citizen but all my families are in the Philippines, if i tell them to vote for you, they will surely will. God Bless.

  2. To my mind now I am thinking Gov. Vilma Santos can run for President. Senator Ralph Recto on her side, I strongly believe Gov. Vilma can run for president and win the presidency. Astrong woman with a heart for the less fortunate, we should take advantage of the ability of Gov. Vilma to lead the nation. If the prominent and the rich people in the Philippines will join hands and help everyone like education for all, there’s nothing impossible, set aside greediness, just help, share, join hands together and make the Philiipines a perfect place for democracy, love and all God fearing people!

  3. There are critics of Sarah Palin but in my opinion she is also a very good politician and she also did some good projects in Alaska.
