Nora in Boston for Vocal Repair

MANILA- A month since leaving forBoston,Massachusettsto undergo vocal cord operation, Nora Aunor is reportedly now doing fine, according to her daughter, Matet de Leon. The young actress added that although the superstar did not actually undergo an operation, Nora’s voice has improved immensely. In a report by PEP, the former child star said that her mother is still recuperating in theUS. Recall that Nora lost her singing voice following an alleged botched cosmetic procedure inJapanin March 2010. Although she has yet to speak with her mother, de Leon told PEP: “Yung yaya niya, nandun, nakakausap ko. Maganda na raw ang boses ni Mommy.” Matet clarified Nora didn’t undergo surgery. She said, “Actually, hindi yata siya inoperahan! May pinasok lang na parang camera sa loob [ng lalamunan]. Camera or something… may something lang na pinasok.”
