CA confirms 7 ambassadors

The Commission on Appointments has confirmed the nominations of seven ambassadors, a foreign service officer and a member of the Judicial and Bar Council. The newly-confirmed ambassadors were Zenaida Tacorda Rabago, assigned in Bangladesh with concurrent jurisdiction over Sri Lanka and the Maldives; Oscar Valenzuela, Egypt, with concurrent jurisdiction over Sudan, Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Djibouti; Victor Garcia III, Russia, with concurrent jurisdiction over Armenia, Belarus, and Ukraine. The other ambassadors were Leoncio Cardenas, assigned in Timor-Leste; Luis Cruz, South Korea; Petronila Garcia, Israel; and Julius Torres, Jordan.
