Rich Filipinos sign up for NY Marathon

NEW YORK – Lance Gokongwei, his cousin Bobby Go, and Harry Tan Jr. will lead the pack of 19 VIP clients of ING who will join this year’s New York Marathon, held annually on All Saints’ Day. A total of 52 runners from the Philippines have been accepted to compete with more than 38,000 runners from around the world for the world’s most famous 26.2-mile (42-kilometer) event that starts from Staten Island and passes through to New York’s five boroughs before it ends in Central Park.
