Britons help children in Ormoc

ORMOC CITY - It’s a school holiday in the United Kingdom this season but instead of vacation or pleasure to other countries, six female Britons are presently in the city conducting voluntary works with street
children now dwelling at the holding center of the City Social Worker and Development office here. The six women will return to school in September after performing their public services with the street children here.

They are Sophie Bearpark, 19, Allison Oatey, 29, Megan Tinslay, 19, Louise Keable, 19, Helen Leavr, 23, and Julie Mac Donald, 23. The six women in an interview said that they were brought here after they applied to conduct humanitarian services form an NGO in UK known as the Visayas volunteers. They came here in tandem so that they will not be bored in their voluntary endeavor.
