CBCP brass meets Filipino community

Fr. Edwin Corros,SC, Secretary-General of the Episcopal Commission on the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People at CBCP (Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines) , will be on a Pastoral visit in the metro DC area and welcome a dialogue with Filipino Community discussing the success and continuing challenges on the plight of migrants and immigrants in the area on April 23 at St. Anthony’s Catholic church in Falls Church, Virginia.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday with a Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help followed by the 7 p.m. reception-dialogue at the school cafeteria. Light reception will be served and RSVP requested. This event is sponsored by Filipino Ministry of Northern Virginia/St. Anthony in cooperation with the Diocesan Office of Multicultural Ministries http://www.arlingtondiocese.org/outreach/multicultural.php.
