New Papal envoy arrives in RP

New papal envoy Archbishop Edward Joseph Adams was welcomed in a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop of Manila Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales at the Manila Cathedral Nov. 1. Adams, an American, was named by Pope Benedict XVI as Vatican ambassador to the Philippines last Sept. 3.
In a letter to the CBCP after his appointment, Adams said he is glad to be serving for the Catholic Church in the Philippines.
