Yahoo Southeast Asia has appointed a Filipino to a key position in its regional office in Hong Kong. Yahoo! Southeast Asia announced the appointment of Joselito Jojo Anonuevo as senior director for business development.
Anonuevo will be filling in a newly-created role for the regional team, whose mail goal is to oversee Yahoo!s strategic partnerships across Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Aonuevo is a 20-year veteran of the Philippine IT industry. He made his name starting at Oracle before it went public. Anonuevo will serve as a vital link to help Yahoo! keep its prestige as the most relevant Internet service for people and advertisers across Southeast Asia. Jojo is a passionate technology leader and he understands the needs of the Internet ecosystem,” said Tom Sipple, managing director for Yahoo! Southeast Asia. Jojo will help lead Yahoo!s regional partners content providers, advertisers and publishers, resellers, etc. to new levels of business success by adopting the Internet and Yahoo! as a partner of choice to achieve better business results.” Share This
