Microsoft firm in Clark Freeport

Bill GatesCLARK FREEPORT Microsoft owner Bill Gates has personally chosen SMK Electronics (Phils) Corp.

as the semi-conductor firm to manufacture a component for the software of Microsoft system. Herrie Raymund Rivera, general administration manager of SMK-a Japanese electronics firm based inside Clark Freeport - made the disclosure during an interview over Askyon Central Luzon (Special Edition), a public affairs program of Metro Clark Network hosted by Angelo Lopez Jr. recently. Rivera said Gates has chosen SMK Philippines because of its capability to produce the IR Receiver Blaster for Microsoft and Filipino craftsmanship needed to manufacture the software system.
The software system is as a remote control device from a PC to any home-based electronic or appliances.
