1 dead, 254 injured in North and Central Luzon

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines?A 17-year-old man in Pangasinan was killed after he was hit by a stray bullet on New Year’s Eve while 254 people were injured in firecracker-related incidents from Dec. 30 to Jan. 1 in Northern and Central Luzon, reports gathered by the Inquirer showed. On Jan. 1 last year, police reported 120 injuries in these regions and two fatalities from a fire that blew up firecracker stalls in Nueva Ecija.
